The 2021 event theme – STRONGER TOGETHER – reminds us what’s possible when we join forces in support of a safer, more inclusive society for LGBTQ+ people… even when separated by physical distance.
PFLAG (Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) was founded in 1973 after the simple act of a mother publicly supporting her gay son. Today PFLAG is the nation’s largest family and ally organization. Through support, education, and advocacy, GBPFLAG helps to change attitudes and create an environment of understanding so that LGBTQ persons, family members and friends can live in a world that is safe and inclusive.
